地支三刑源自于地支三会和地支三合 　　原理如下：

三会 寅卯辰 申酉戌 亥子丑 巳午未
三合 申子辰 巳酉丑 亥卯未 寅午戌
　　上下对照一下，就会清楚的看到了。每一列看：寅刑申，卯刑子，辰自刑；申刑巳，酉自刑，戌刑丑；亥自刑，子刑卯，丑刑未；巳刑寅，午自刑，未刑戌。知道了这个，就根本不用去背诵三刑了。
其原理是什么呢？
　　三会局是十二地支自然地理方位和自然时空顺序的排列，而三和局是记录太阳升降的时刻划分的结果。
寅年、卯年、辰年的太阳时刻是一致的
申年、酉年、戌年的太阳时刻是一致的
亥年、子年、丑年的太阳时刻是一致的
巳年、午年、未年的太阳时刻是一致的
三合局同时也体现了太阳与地球的运动规律。
三合局中的某一年会刑当年的对应月、日、时
如子年对年中卯月和卯日会发生相形。年刑月、月刑年。

當今世人算命最想知道的妻、財、子、祿，其中的財祿可視為物質生活，也是絕大部人一生的追求。

現今社會是經濟掛帥的社會，錢財可以說佔有極重要的地位，自古以來，人們忙忙碌碌，無一不為錢財，當然，最終也是為了生存，但要生存，就一定要有錢，沒有錢，就根本談不上甚麼理想和計劃。為了錢，有人甚賠上性命，每日報章上都有不少自殺的個案，不少就是為錢所困而走上絕路。

由於可見，錢財可善可惡，可吉可凶，視乎我們怎樣利用它，怎樣面對它。

常言道：「錢不是萬能，但是沒有錢，就萬萬不能！」道出了世俗對錢的評價。

因此，錢財在八字論命是一大課題，通過八字論命，了解人的財政狀況，求財心態，求財能力，從而改善財運。

錢財乃天下流通之物，實質上我們的錢都是從別人手裡拿過來的，當一個人錢財上增加的同時，意味著有人的錢財減少，所以，發達成功的人，北後隱藏著其他人的失敗和破產。因此，對錢財的追求，我們不必太過執著，你命中有的財，你始終會得到，你命中無財，過份的追求，只會令你陷入萬劫不復之地。最終我們得有這個財的命，這是一種幸運，無法解釋的一種力量，可說是上天的恩賜，我們實在有必要明白了解，從而好好運用。

八字命理中，以我剋之物為財，同性相剋為偏財，異性相剋為正財，例如，日主為甲木，木剋土，土就為木之財，土有戊和己，戊為偏財，己為正財。我們要了解一個人的命中之錢財，就要看正財和偏財在命中的角色和份量如何。以下列命例作說明：

日主為甲木，其它字中若見戊和己則論財，辰為戊土偏財，午中己土為正財，寅中戊土為偏財，因此，此命有財，以偏才之力量較強，因為正財己土乃午中雜氣，力量很弱，又無透出天干，偏才戊土為辰的主氣，力量較強。

正財與偏財

財星代表一個人的錢財狀況，求財心態和求財的方式。正財由於是異性關係，相剋有情，屬於正常的收入，例如打工作賺取的薪金，此乃正財，數目亦較為固定，不會大上大落，因此，命中有正財而沒有偏才者，適合以上班一族的方式求財，以積累的方式增加財富的收入。偏財由於是同性關係，相剋無情，屬於意外的收入，例如，中彩票，經商，承受家產等為之偏才。能有偏財，可算幸運兒，能中六合彩頭獎，也會說句：「真好命」，其實是偏才作怪。經商的目的是賺錢，但這要賺的錢實在受很多無法估計的因素影響，因此，其中的起伏很大，非有偏財之命，難以經商成功，所以，老板之命，偏財有力為要。

以上述命例，偏財較正財強，得偏財的機會較大。

財與妻子的關係

財為我剋之物，我剋代表我有控制權，因此財是代表我的財富，不動資產，擁有物等。就人物而言，代表妻子，由於古代社會男權至上，女性地位低，結婚後往往受控制於丈夫，因此，男命以財為妻。從另外一個角度，兩性關係，男性為主動剋人的一方，女性是被剋的一方，因此，財為妻就符合自然規律。

要了解妻子狀況，就要知道財在命中的角色，尤其是「正財」。正財代表妻子，偏財代表情人。而正偏財同時擁有者，代表命中這兩種人物可以同時並存，甚至同時擁有。

以上述命例，正財位於夫妻宮，代表妻子的位置恰當，在位，並同甲與己乃合之性質，與妻有情相合，感情融洽，自身與妻不易分離，遺憾的是正財星所在的夫妻宮為午，受月支的子沖，為夫妻宮受沖，很有分離的跡象，但是午亦受寅之半合，造成又沖又合的難捨難離的跡象。本命乃一生的寫照，無論在那一個階段，其本質不變，也就是，該命無論任何時候，都有這種又沖又合的現象，可算是一種無奈。

戊土偏財星在年支和時支，其中以年支為主氣，並與月支子半合，可理解為本命容易同時擁有妻子和情人，而兩者均有情，而以能力而言，情人比妻子更勝一等。

偏財還代表父親

偏財星在人物中還代表了父親，要了解父親的性質，須看偏財星，該命偏財星戊土在年支，與月支子水正印有合，代表該命父母和睦相處，感情很好。

身旺才可得大財
